Who do you know who should be honored as a Jewish communal leader? The Jewish Federations of North America ask this question for a second year with their Jewish Community Heroes project. Individuals are encouraged to go online and nominate or vote for their favorites, but the process ends on Oct. 8! A small team will choose from 20 semifinalists and announce the official hero next month at the JNFA General Assembly in New Orleans.

Closer to home, several inspiring leaders have already been recognized for their contributions to the Jewish world. Learn more about them here, and click on their profile pages for more info!
